Rating: 7/10 (Great -) This episode has been heralded as the "funnest" in the series, and is one of the highest regarded. At the same time, it feels the least "real." An example would be the fact that some of the "giant cycads" are clearly trees when they are switched away from CGI. On top of that, it probably has some of the most significant scientific errors as some of the animals featured should have been long extinct, making it feel like bumping into a Basilosaurus in the present day. Like Dinobirds and Supercroc, there is not much urgency to save the species, although, I would argue, The Bug House does a better job of ignoring this than the others. A local wildfire also does breaks out at the end to add a little tension. With all this in mind, it is still one of the most enjoyable to watch, and is, in my opinion, the most unique of all of the episodes. Cougarcat (talk) 02:44, July 18, 2020 (UTC)
